US Military Official Throws Trump Under Bus Over Syria - Russia Collusion Confirmed

Late Thursday night, President Trump ordered the launch of 59 Tomahawk cruise missiles on a Syrian airbase in response to the chemical attack that killed 77 civilians earlier this week.

Shortly after the airstrike was ordered, Russia spoke out against it, calling it an “act of aggression.”

Russia may not have supported the strike, but an unnamed military official revealed on Friday that it was strategically planned so that it would not hinder Russia’s efforts in Syria.

According to a series of tweets from Carla Babb, the Pentagon correspondent for Voice of America, the airbase’s runway was not targeted in order to avoid having a negative effect on Russia’s plans.

#Syriastrikes didn't target runway as to not effect Russians, says US military official, & Tomahawk type used was precision, not cratering
