On Thursday, House Speaker Paul Ryan explained away Donald Trump’s lawbreaking by suggesting that he has no idea what he’s doing. While former FBI Director James Comey testified before the Senate Intelligence Committee about his interactions with President Donald Trump, Paul Ryan spoke at a Capitol press conference. During the press conference the House Speaker suggested that while Donald Trump may have pressured Comey to stop his investigation into former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn, it was simply a matter of Trump having no clue what he’s doing. During the Comey’s Senate Intelligence Committee testimony, the president asked others to leave the room before pressuring the former FBI director to discontinue his investigation into former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn.
